GigLedger ("we", "our", or "the App") is a personal finance tool for gig economy workers. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is stored, and your rights.

Data We Collect

GigLedger stores the following data that you enter:

All data is created by you and stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

No Tracking

GigLedger does not track you. We do not collect analytics, device identifiers, advertising data, or usage statistics. Our App Privacy manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy) declares NSPrivacyTracking = false. We do not use any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

No Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transmit your data to any third parties. Your financial information never leaves your device or your personal iCloud account.

Data Storage & iCloud Sync

Location Data

GigLedger requests location access only for GPS mileage tracking. Location data is used solely to record trip routes and calculate distances. Location data is stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account — it is never sent to us or any third party. You can use the app without granting location access by logging trips manually.

Camera & Photos

GigLedger may request camera access to scan receipts and tax documents. Scanned images are stored locally on your device. We do not upload images to any external server.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the app with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
